These Terms of Use govern your use of DocNectar's tools, calculators, document generators and guides. By using the site, you agree to them.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any tool, calculator, generator, or guide on DocNectar, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the site.
2. Description of Service
DocNectar provides free, browser-based calculators, converters, document generators, developer utilities and in-depth guides. Tools run instantly from what you type or upload — there's no software to install and no paid tier.
3. No Account Required
DocNectar doesn't require account registration for any tool. Generated documents and favorited tools are linked to an anonymous browser session (a cookie) rather than a login. You're responsible for your own device and browser — anyone with access to your browser can see your recently generated documents and favorites.
4. Acceptable Use
When using DocNectar, you agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site in a way that degrades service for other users.
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, security measures, or access restrictions.
- Use any tool to generate content that is illegal, fraudulent, or infringes on someone else's rights.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying source code of the site beyond what's normal browser inspection.
- Use the contact form or newsletter signup to send spam or unrelated solicitations.
5. Accuracy & No Warranty
Every calculator on DocNectar is built from the standard, published formula for its subject and checked against known reference values before it ships. Even so, tools are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. For anything with real financial, legal, medical, or tax consequences, verify the result independently or consult a qualified professional before relying on it — DocNectar's calculators are meant to help you work faster, not to replace professional advice.
6. Intellectual Property
The DocNectar name, site design, and underlying code belong to DocNectar. Content you type into a tool, and any document a tool generates for you from that input, belongs to you — DocNectar claims no ownership over it. The Guides section's articles are DocNectar's own content and may not be republished elsewhere without permission.
7. Third-Party Links
Some pages link to external sites — including our own other independent projects (listed on the About page) and, where relevant, reference sources cited in a Guide. We don't control these sites and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or their own terms and privacy practices.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DocNectar is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or any tool's output. This doesn't limit any liability that can't legally be excluded.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes become effective immediately after publication, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
10. Contact Us
