Basal Body Temperature (BBT) charting looks for the sustained temperature shift that typically follows ovulation — a rise of roughly 0.3-0.5°C (0.5-1°F) that holds for at least three consecutive days, compared to the average of the preceding low-phase readings. This tool performs pattern detection on the daily readings you enter — it may suggest a likely ovulation shift, it does not confirm that ovulation occurred. How it works
